Cucuta Simon Bolivar.- According to Colombian authorities, around 600,000 Venezuelans are estimated to be the number of migrants from Venezuela who have left for Colombia and from there to the borders with the United States as well as neighboring countries in South America.

The most impressive thing on this bridge is the enormous traffic of carts to carry food that leave Venezuela empty and go to Colombia to buy food and medicine, since food shortages are a reality, as well as medicine shortages.

Ana Laura Jiménez is a migrant from Venezuela who talks about the economic and social crisis that she is experiencing. “You can no longer live in my country, it is very difficult, every day I have to come to Colombia to be able to buy food and take home.”

Despite Title 42 policies in the United States, Venezuelan migrants still decide to embark on the American dream.

Carlos Darío is a migrant from Venezuela who now trades on the bridge but who tried to cross the Darién to reach the United States and ended up returning from the jungle.

“My money ran out and I had to go back I sold everything and I only had 500 dlls and I ran out between coyotes and boats I couldn’t pay anymore and I had to go back now I have to start from scratch and see if one day they open again border”.

It is understood that the Darién jungle was regulated by Panamanian authorities but as a result of President Joe Biden’s unbalanced policy, some of the roads are still active where migrants continue their journey to the north of the continent.

Oscar: Where is you and Bens video on the Dairian Gap? People in the WH need to see this. The United Nations and the NGOs are collecting millions of dollars off these illegals. The US has to be getting money from this as well. Rep. James Comer should see this.
